As a startup entering the digital health space, our client had strong clinical expertise and over 250 pages of detailed clinical documentation but lacked clarity and product assets needed to communicate their vision effectively to investors, clinicians, and end-users.

Our team conducted collaborative working sessions with the client to capture clinical intent, clarify diagnostic logic, and prioritize high-impact features, ensuring the prototype was both medically accurate and market-ready.

Translating Clinical Documentation into an AI Knowledge Base
We transformed over 250 pages of clinical documentation into a structured knowledge base mapped to standard reasoning models like OPQRST, SOCRATES, and SAMPLE. This conversion produced decision rules and branching logic that enabled an AI layer to ask intelligent follow-up questions, infer conditions, and recommend next steps.

End-to-End Platform with Intelligent Admin Control
Beyond the mobile diagnostic experience, EasyDX includes a comprehensive web admin dashboard designed to give full oversight and control across the platform.

The admin dashboard provides:

Designing the Diagnostic Flow and User Experience

Our design team built an interactive diagnostic flow that emulates how clinicians evaluate patients. The prototype allowed users to choose an affected body part, answer structured questions about symptoms and history, and receive AI-generated preliminary assessments with recommendations. The flow adapted dynamically to user input, ensuring contextual accuracy at each step. Every screen included detailed UX annotations explaining logic and reasoning for future development reference.

Building a Clickable, Investor-Ready Prototype
The final deliverable was a clickable prototype illustrating the full user journey from symptom entry to AI-generated diagnosis. Each screen included technical annotations defining required data points, integration parameters, and development considerations for the MVP stage. This combination of design and technical depth made the prototype both a demonstration tool and a functional blueprint for engineering teams.

Embedding Privacy and Compliance

Since the product handles PHI, zeb embedded HIPAA compliance principles into the design from the outset. Using safe harbor de-identification guidelines, the prototype was structured with limited free-text inputs, masked identifiers, and secure authentication flows. Our experts also documented compliance implications to support future audits and accelerate the development of a fully compliant MVP.
