Solution: Streamlined DNS migration and resilient disaster recovery setup

As an Advanced Tier AWS Consulting Partner, zeb modernized the VillaControl’s cloud infrastructure by migrating their DNS services to AWS Route 53 and implementing a robust disaster recovery architecture. We migrated all DNS records from Verio to AWS Route 53, centralizing DNS management and eliminating the inefficiencies of multi-step redirects. This resulted in greater reliability and simplified routing.

To ensure business continuity, we designed a multi-availability zone (AZ) architecture within AWS, which included Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), load balancers, auto-scaling groups, and Amazon RDS with cross-AZ backup capabilities. This setup enabled automatic failover during outages, minimizing downtime. Additionally, the infrastructure was designed to be scalable, leveraging AWS’s fault tolerance to support future growth with minimal maintenance. By utilizing AWS Route 53 and services like load balancers and RDS, we built a solution that is not only resilient but also ready to scale as the VillaControl’s business evolves.
